We are called to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with those who do not know Him
The Life Chapel for Bangladesh is committed to know God, His nature, His character and His ways. We seek to reflect who He is in every aspect of our lives and ministry. The automatic overflow of knowing and enjoying fellowship with God is a desire to share Him with others.
The Life Chapel for Bangladesh is called to make God known throughout the country, and into every area of society through evangelism, training,Seminars and mercy ministries. We believe that salvation of souls should result in transformation of societies, thus obeying Jesus’ command to make disciples of all Bangladesh.
The foremost purpose of
THE LIFE CHAPEL FOR BANGLADESH
We believe that public worship is essential to worshipping God in spirit and in truth. Public worship provides the opportunity for believers to assemble together in the house of the Lord. Expressions of public worship include: adoration, confession, thanksgiving, praise and supplication. Adoration is the spontaneous yearning of the heart to worship, honor, magnify and bless God. Supplication is a humble request, prayer or petition. Through worship, we acknowledge the presence of the Holy Spirit within us and in the worship service. The Holy Spirit anoints every person who participates in expressing worship to God during the worship service. The Holy Spirit especially anoints the preacher because he is sent by God to declare God’s word. Through preaching, the Holy Spirit convicts sinners; brings them to a place of repentance; and allows those persons to receive the truth of the gospel message according to the meaning of the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This repentance is made known publicly through water baptism in Jesus’ name, and is known within the heart when the Holy Spirit is received. The Holy Spirit empowers the believer to press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. The Holy Spirit also empowers a person to live a Godly life. It is profitable to live a Godly life in this world and the world, which is to come.
Practicing good works is essential if a believer’s light is to shine and draw unbelievers to Jesus Christ. Therefore, we provide financial and moral support to the poor; visit and pray for the sick; bring the gospel to those in prison; and help to mend those affected by broken relationships and misdirected lives. We seek to build up our families, communities, and society in general, which are all in need of spiritual guidance. To carry out these purposes we formed ministries, auxiliaries, departments and committees. We believe that God’s grace is sufficient to carry out these purposes. We thank God for the victory that is assured in Christ Jesus, who always causes us to triumph.
